Trichocereus Tarmaensis

Trichocereus Tarmaensis

SAB Trichocereus Tarmaensis KK2148 Echinopsis knize

This is a really, really rare type from Peru. Trichocereus Tarmaensis was an amazing type of Trichocereus that is close to the San Pedro & Peruvian Torch Group. It grows around Tarma in Peru at approximatelyy 3000 meters and reaches a size of up to 2 meters.

Currently, I do not know of any other source who has them for sale and I am really happy being able to offer them here.

Trichocereus Tarmaensis is very close to Trichocereus Cuzcoensis and looks similar to it. Though this is an unbelievably cool cactus, this goes more towards Cuzcoensis than Peruvianus. The plant belongs to the San Pedro Group and is actually a direct neighbor to Trichocereus Tulhuayacensis, who looks exactly like this one.

Quality: The seed quality is okay. I am offering 60 seeds for 3,00 which is double the amount that I usually send because the germination rate isn´t as high as my other San Pedro seeds. However, this seed is absolutely viable and is extremely rare! This is such a rare type that it´s basically unavailable on the open market.

Trichocereus Cordobensis

Trichocereus cordobensis 30 Seeds / 30 Samen

Trichocereus cordobensis is a very rare Australian hybrid, that is only available every now and then and I am really happy about being able to offer some seeds of it in my shop. This seed is TOP NOTCH QUALITY, was harvested in the most recent harvest and has an amazing germination rate. This seed was professionally cleaned and grown by a very experienced grower, that is also very beautiful.  Just kidding, he's not but I am still EXTREMELY thankful for him to make this rare seed available to some more people. This was the first time that I saw seeds of this plant being available on the open market and I am very sure it won't be available for long.

I have a limited amount of seeds available right now and if it´s gone, I don´t know if I will get some of it again.

Botanically, the plant is probably a Trichocereus scopulicola Hybrid. The plant looks extremely cool and I am working on getting a great picture of the mother plant. This pic was donated by one of my friends and it does not show the mother plant but a cutting of the same clone.

Well, there´s not much else to say. This cross is an open pollinated cross with an unknown parent and at the time of the pollination, there were some really cool plants flowering that may or may not be the father.

Teguise_Guatiza_-_Jardin_-_Echinopsis_camarguensis_01_ies

This is an extremely rare type of seeds and I am happen to offer them here on the website. It comes from the location where KK1414 Trichocereus Carmarguensis, bit has a great germination rate. Most Carmarguensis seed on the market is overaged and unviable, but  this one isn´t. This is fresh seed from 2015 and I probably won´t get any more of them in the near future and I´d recommend everyone interested to get some now because I only have very limited stock of a few hundred seeds and when it´s out it´s out.

If you want to find out more about Trichocereus Camarguensis, check out this page:

Trichocereus Carmarguensis is a very cool creeping Trichocereus with a beautiful and unique flower that makes it ideal for hybrid cultivation. It´s also a perfect grafting stock, though they are really too pretty to use them for that.

Trichocereus Bridgesii (Australian Hybrid Seed) - 40 Seeds

Trichocereus Bridgesii (Australian Hybrid Seed) – 40 Seeds

Trichocereus-Bridgesii-shop

This is an amazing Trichocereus Bridgesii cross from an Australian Grower. It is open pollinated seed and he had a whole lot of other plants flowering at the time of pollination, such as the amazing Australian clone Rosei 1 or Trichocereus Cordobensis, which is another extremely rare Australian clone.

The seed is EXTREMELY fresh and was harvested in 2015. That makes this some of THE best Bridgesii seeds on the market. I´ve tested the viability and not only did I have an amazing germination rate but the seedlings looked extremely healthy and started growing right away and have already reached a very decent size for their young age.

I was able to get a very limited amount and I am really happy that I am able to offer it here. This is just great quality and you will get quite a lot of seedlings from one portion. This cross has some truly great genetics and the seedlings will be a great addition to your collection.

I was lucky to get these directly from the grower and I am really really proud to have them in the shop! The pic does not show the mother plant but I am trying to get a picture from the grower.

This plant will be labeled Echinopsis Lageniformis because that is the current botanic name.

Trichocereus Peruvianus / Macrogonus- 30 Samen / 30 Seeds

Trichocereus Peruvianus / Macrogonus- 30 Samen / 30 Seeds

Trichocereus Peruvianus Shop

English: This type of Trichocereus Peruvianus is true Peruvianus aka Trichocereus Macrogonus and absolutely NOT the mislabeled Cuzcoensis type that you sometimes encounter! This type comes very close to a Trichocereus Macrogonus and it´s one of the most amazing Trichos that are available on the market. This is not a sales pitch but a genuinely awesome seed that I was lucky enough to get my hands on. This is Premium seed and I hardly use that term.

How fresh is it? Well, good Question as there is a lot of seed available on the market that´s unviable. This seed is from 2015 and it´s as fresh as it get´s. I also made sure to get a type of seed that was cleaned very well and floaters have been removed to increase the germination rates.

Quantity: This seed was really expensive compared to other Peruvianus seed, simply because it is an amazing quality. Right now, I will list this type in quantities of 30+ seeds (I always add a few extra) but it´s possible I will offer them in 100s bags too.

So this is really not a Trichocereus Cuzcoensis? Not it is not. This is seed from Matucana in Peru. And it´s absolutely not the Matucana type from another large wholesaler. This here is dark blue Peruvian Torch/Macrogonus from the typus location of Trichocereus Peruvianus.

How much does it cost? The seed was fairly expensive and was not available in large quantities, so I offer 30 seeds for 3 Euros. But as they are really viable, you can get maximum results out of them. I am really happy to be able to offer them here and I can´t wait until I see the first pics of the seedlings.

Does the pic show the mother plant? No, it´s a plant raised from seed of this regional type and the pic was donated by a friend.

From where do I ship? I ship from Germany. Please check your local laws and quarantine conditions before ordering. This seed will be labeled Echinopsis Macrogona / Peruviana, because that is the current botanical name. The seed is very well cleaned and perfectly labeled.

Deutsch:
