Trichocereus hybrid SAARLAND by Rolf Autenrieth

New preview from the upcoming book. This time it is the classic intergeneric hybrid SAARLAND by Rolf Autenrieth. The mother of this cross (which also brought some other classics like the SAARWELLE) was a San Pedro and the father was a Pseudolobivia calorubra (now treated as part of Echinopsis). The cross brought some incredible results and this is one of the best plants that came out the cross. The flower is purple pink in color, the body is columnar like a Trichocereus species would usually grow and the spines are like a mix between Pseudolobivia spines and Trichocereus spines. Note the very uncommon spination on the photo.
